Luckiest Uncle

 This is another layout made this past weekend. Super quick to put together thanks to the awesome sketch from the Scrap Our Stash Challenge! I was looking forward to scrapping some more this weekend but it looks like I may not have time.  =(    

Here in this photo my husband who is super excited to be with his nephew! 

For the challenge I added some stamping on the page, not very good at stamping or mixed media so I keep it at a minimal.  Will be more adventurous hopefully this summer!

I am also entering this layout to the Lasting Memories Challenge and the challenge is "Something Blue".  I have used different hues of blue in my layout.

Hi All! Scrapbooking has slowed down for me as we get into busy season at work.  Today I am sharing a challenge that I have been working on. I created this layout for the ChallengeYOUrself March Challenge. I absolutely loved this challenge because it allowed me to showcase everything that I love and who I am.  I was able to have fun with just throwing things on that I love.  Can you tell how much I love bright colors???  The sunflower gave me trouble and seems to be out of place, but I couldn't help but add it on since it is my favorite flower.  Thanks for stopping by!  Question for my visitors: Do you scrapbook one page at a time or do you scrapbook multiple pages at a time?  Hi Everyone, It's been awhile since I have had a chance to scrapbook. It is busy season at work so I have not had time to scrapbook as much as I would have loved to.  I was able to work on two layouts this weekend!   The first layout here is using a Scrap Your Stash sketch.  I played along with the sketch and used the Challenge YOUrself theme to create the layout.  At Challenge YOURself, the theme was "put your best face forward", meaning to show off your best side. To me the best side of me is when I am with my better half.   My kids always say I am the homework mom and dad is the fun dad.  My husband is the one that shows me how to live my life in a most youthful way. I am so thankful that we complement each other.  I do need that balance between being serious and having fun.  So my best face forward is with my husband! Hello All, Today I am posting a layout created using the Lasting Memories Challenge LM#584 and Disney Creative Company February Colors of Magic Challenge.  I just love when I have a vision as soon as I see a challenge, it just makes things so much easier!  When I saw the color challenge, I knew right away which photos I had wanted to scrap.  Looking at the Lasting Memories sketch just completed my layout idea.
