Strawberry Picking Time

Image
Hi, Thanks for stopping by. Today I am sharing a layout created for the Scrap Our Stash Challenge . My daughter loves strawberries so I  decided to take the family strawberry picking!  It was everyone's first time strawberry picking! The first is always the best and I am glad I was able to try it with my family. It was a great experience and we thoroughly enjoyed the strawberries.  Here is my layout, I used a ribbon and sun for some circular objects.

Hi, thanks for stopping by today.  March just flew by and I was able to squeeze in a layout this month.  I am joining the challenge over at Scrap Our Stash this month.  Thank you Scrap Our Stash for the inspirations and the challenges every month.  I wanted to share that I was very lucky to be the winner of last month's challenge at Scrap Our Stash!  I love the sketch this month so I had to make sure I took time to work on the layout.  I definitely was able to use some of my stash from years ago.  The challenge was to include some stars, I used some of my star brads on the layout. Check it out.  Here is the sketch this month

Hi, Thanks for stopping by today.  I am having fun playing along with Scrap with Stacy and Rochelle Spears this month with the February sketch. This is the sketch I am playing with in February. This is my take on the sketch.  For the BINGO challenge, I have used gold (gold lettering on the banner), arrow and staples. I love creating pages with bright colors, I naturally gravitate to these bright colors! As always, please help me by answering my question of the day.  QUESTION: Do you tend to gravitate toward a specific color scheme? Do you choose what colors to use based on the colors in the photo?  If not, how do you choose the paper colors?

Love You

Thank you for stopping by. I really enjoyed the challenge this month over at Scrap Our Stash Challenge .  For this challenge, I added different hearts all over, some were sewed on. Also did some fussy cutting  for the border. It was a fun, quick and easy layout to put together.

You Color My World

I created this layout for the challenge over at Rochelle Spears and Scrap with Stacy blogs. The inspiration for my layout is Bob Ross! Found the perfect Vicki Boutin ephemeras and a light bulb just turned on. Of course the vision in my head and the reality was slightly different. The layout took longer than I expected because I had no idea how to work the water colors but this is the best that I can do.   Thanks for stopping by!    Entering this layout to the following challenges: Rochelle Spears - Sketch Challenge Scrap with Stacy - I used square photos, I used a ticket punch for the fortune from the fortune cookie, I used stitching in my layout.

Orienteering

Hi, thanks for stopping by, it's been awhile since I have updated my blog.  I was able to get some scrapbooking time in this weekend.  Today's layout is created for Challenge YOUrself blog #107. This month's challenge is to show some handwritten journaling. It was a bit of challenge I don't like my handwriting. LOL.  I didn't have much time to create the layout because October had been a very busy month but it came together fairly quickly.  I think it was because even though I didn't have much time to work on it, I was envisioning it in my head.  I took some inspiration from a magazine I saw awhile back.  The first photo is my inspiration, I wanted to create a tear across effect as if you are unfolding a secret word. I attempted to do that with my title.   In case you cannot read my handwriting, the photo was from an orienteering event with my son's Boy Scout troop.  My son needed to attend the even to complete his requirement for Boy Scout, he was paired o
